The decision to become a mom isn’t always easy. And even if you’ve always wanted to be a mom, sometimes the road to getting there is bumpy, and the reality of motherhood is complicated.
Women face many societal expectations that do not represent all the realities of women in today’s world. Pregnancy is not always an exciting and joyful time, infertility treatment can be emotionally draining, and having a baby is hard, especially when facing symptoms of postpartum depression or anxiety.
In my practice, all feelings and experiences are welcome. There is no right or wrong way to feel when it comes to motherhood. I welcome women who are experiencing issues related to:
- Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (baby blues, postpartum anxiety and depression)
- Infertility Concerns (IVF, IUI)
- Transitioning to becoming a new mom
- Deciding whether to become a parent
- The mom experience (mom guilt, breastfeeding, parenting little ones)
I also offer a judgment free zone for women who have decided that they do not want to be mothers and help them navigate the world around them, which isn’t always easy.
